Romance
WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?
“Romance ain't dead, 2Fik!” is a transdisciplinary artwork about the representation of oneself on dating applications. 2Fik interprets 100 characters in a show where visual arts, digital art, performance and interactive theater are intertwined.
“Romance ain't dead, 2Fik!” dives into the meanders of dating applications and the questioning of identity online. The over-codification of seduction has turned human beings into fine technological strategists. Through this art project, 2Fik wishes to address the performance of the self in a virtual world, the versatility of identities, the transformation of social interactions and the great vulnerability of users.
This artwork questions the transformation of social interactions and the commodification of the human being.
